While many players have been enjoying Season 3, some people are unhappy with the current team-up ability between Phoenix and Wolverine in Marvel Rivals. Currently, the team-up allows Wolverine to cover himself in flames when using his Feral Leap ability. During this time, he deals continuous percentage damage to all nearby foes. Additionally, the team-up grants him lifesteal, making him even more durable. A lot of Vanguard players have claimed that, as a result of the team-up, the Duelist has felt completely unbalanced since the launch of Season 3.

In a recent post on Twitter, NetEase Games gave players a fresh look at upcoming patch notes, explaining what they can expect to see when the title's next update goes live on July 17. The company also stated that there won't be any downtime associated with the update, meaning players are free to download it and relaunch their game to continue playing without a significant interruption. Some gamers may be happy to learn that accessories will be a little easier to acquire after the update, as people will now be able to gain Accessory Points in Marvel Rivals by playing the Practice VS. AI game mode.

Marvel Rivals Showcases July 17 Patch Notes

The patch notes also revealed that some of the upcoming skins being released as part of Marvel Rivals' Summer Special event will receive color variants that players can purchase with Unstable Molecules. This currency can be earned through events and the Season 3 battle pass, though players can always substitute it for Lattice when purchasing cosmetics. Luna Snow's Cool Summer costume will receive two recolor options while Thor's Worthy Waves skin will only receive one.

The upcoming update will also add new skins for Psylocke and Loki to Marvel Rivals, though NetEase Games hasn't revealed how much either cosmetic will cost. These skins will arrive in the popular hero shooter's shop on July 17 at 7 PM PDT, and they will only be available for purchase through August 15. The patch notes also mentioned that Psylocke's Breezy Butterfly costume will launch with two optional color variants that will also be available in the store. Similarly, gamers who pick up Loki's Robe of Relaxation skin will be able to purchase an additional color option. With a whole new season to enjoy and even more content just around the corner, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Marvel Rivals.

Now, when Hulk smashes, there's no portal-twisting madness, just pure, unfiltered Hulk mayhem! Magneto's Magnetized Mix-ups: Fixed a bug where Magneto could still sometimes suffer negative effects when blocking Cloak's Terror Cape with Metallic Curtain. Now, nothing will get through his ironclad defenses.
