Cybertruck Street Racing Crash Takes Out 8 Parked CarsA Tesla Cybertruck Street racing a Lamborghini Urus crashed at high speed, wrecking eight cars parked on the side of the road. The horrific accident, which put on display what the Cybertruck can do in a collision, unfolded in Miami, Florida as angry residents gathered to see the aftermath.

There was some sort of altercation by the wrecked vehicles, we’re assuming between the angry mob and the Cybertruck driver. It’s understandable why people would be upset. But WSVN reports police showed up shortly after the crash, the mob running away as the Tesla driver stayed put.
While street racing was obviously a dumb idea, staying at the scene of the crash was a smart move.
It’s really no surprise Cybertrucks would be used in street races, even if it is disappointing. After all, they’re fast and powerful, so we can see why the guy wanted to see if he could outrun a Lamborghini in a dead heat.
Unfortunately, it sounds like he didn’t find that out, crashing instead. That will be a fun insurance claim for the guy to follow since not only is his super expensive EV trashed, so are at least eight other cars.
Plus, the fact he was street racing, something we assume is documented in the police report, will just make the insurance company even happier.
We know the temptation to go for a little street race when you have a fast car is sometimes too much. But this guy and the Urus driver are lucky they didn’t kill someone, including themselves.
The smarter thing is to take your vehicle to the drag strip and test out how fast it is there. We know that requires planning and money, something both drivers obviously have, but it’s not an instant gratification thing.
Instead, the guy has impacted the lives of at least eight people, probably more. Thankfully it’s not permanently.
