Porsche Unveils Ultra-Rare 911 Club Coupe for U.S. Enthusiasts

In a nod to its most dedicated American fanbase, Porsche has unveiled a special-edition 911 Club Coupe, a limited-run model designed exclusively for members of the Porsche Club of America (PCA). Just 70 units will be produced, commemorating the club’s 70th anniversary.

Revealed during a PCA gathering in Oklahoma City over the weekend, the new 911 Club Coupe blends heritage-inspired design with modern performance upgrades. It’s based on the lightweight 911 Carrera T, but Porsche has added unique styling elements and a modest power bump for added appeal.

Under the hood is a 3.0-liter flat-six engine, now rated at 388 horsepower, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. A walnut shift knob adds a bespoke touch to the interior, while Porsche’s PASM sport suspension lowers the ride height by 10 millimeters to improve handling and aesthetics.

The model debuts in a custom Paint-to-Sample finish called Sholar Blue, named after PCA founder Bill Sholar. That hue extends to the car’s key, which comes with a matching leather pouch. Inside, the Club Coupe features black leather upholstery with red seat belts and optional tartan inserts for the seat centers and glovebox. Door-mounted projectors beam the PCA logo onto the ground.

This is the third PCA-exclusive 911 Porsche has produced, following editions in 2005 and 2015 to mark the club’s 50th and 60th anniversaries, respectively. Like its predecessors, the first of the 70 cars will go to the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart.

Pricing has not been disclosed, but the model will command a premium over the base Carrera T, which starts at $138,700. Sales will be offered exclusively to PCA members, who number more than 150,000 nationwide.

“PCA members are some of the most passionate in the entire auto industry,” said Porsche North America President Timo Resch. “This car is our thank-you to them.”
