We now officially know when the Mortal Kombat 2 trailer release date is, with a new poster for the upcoming film revealing when fans can expect the movie’s trailer.
When does the Mortal Kombat 2 trailer come out?
The Mortal Kombat 2 trailer is officially out tomorrow, on July 17, 2025. The film’s trailer will give fans the first look at the highly anticipated sequel to the 2021 live-action film. The new poster for the film doesn’t give away too much, but does show the iconic logo for the franchise, as well the film’s release date, October 24, 2025.

Mortal Kombat 2will feature the return ofHiroyuki Sanadaas Scorpion, Lewis Tan as Cole Young, Jessica McNamee as Sonya Blade, Josh Lawson as Kano, Tadanobu Asano as Lord Raiden, Mehcad Brooks as Jax, Ludi Lin as Liu Kang, Chin Han as Shang Tsung, Joe Taslim as Bi-Han and Sub-Zero, Hiroyuki Sanada as Hanzo Hasashi and Scorpion, and Max Huang as Kung Lao.
Joining them are several new characters in the form of Karl Urban as Johnny Cage, Adeline Rudolph as Kitana, Tati Gabrielle as Jade, Martyn Ford as emperor Shao Kahn, Damon Herriman as Netherrealm demon Quan Chi, Desmond Chiam as Edenian King Jerrod, and Ana Thu Nguyen as Queen Sindel.
