The cover model for Black Sabbath’s very first album announced a rare offer for fans on the heels of the band'sBack to the Beginning farewell concert. More than 50 years after posing as a “witch” for the English heavy metal band’s self-titled debut album, model Louisia Livingstone is hosting an auction for her autograph—and it’s a rare deal.

In a post shared to Raffall, Livingstone noted that Black Sabbath fans have regularly asked her online for her autograph. “And to this day nobody has one - for a variety of reasons!” she wrote. “But I have now decided, at this epic time with Black Sabbath doing their last ever gig, to raffle my autograph. This way, everyone gets a chance…to have what will be a collectors' item, but at minimal cost and effort.”

“The only other autographs of mine already floating around are minimal, if they even still exist - given on very rare occasions,” she added. “But here is a chance for us all to celebrate the last Black Sabbath gig in summer 2025 with someone also winning my sought-after autograph.” Livingstone added that she is aware that there are many collectibles out there bearing her likeness that she never made money from. Her autograph auction will benefit her cat rescue efforts.

“The winner will receive a handwritten letter signed by me, sent by signed-for delivery,” Livingstone wrote.

Fans can buy as many raffle tickets as they want for £1.00 ($1.37 U.S. dollars). The sweepstakes ends on July 19. You can enter the contest HERE.

Fans were mesmerized when Black Sabbath’s debut album dropped in 1969. The album featured Livingstone posing in a black cloak amid a misty and eerie, wooded background with a pink sky. For decades, no one knew the identity of the mystery cover model.

But in 2020,Rolling Stone reported that Livingstone was the model. The then 19-year-old was chosen for the shoot at Maple Durham Watermill because the cover artist, Keith Macmillan, liked the fact that she was petite at five feet tall.

“I remember it was freezing cold,” Livingstone told the outlet of the 4 a.m. photoshoot. “Keith was rushing around with dry ice, throwing it into the water. It didn’t seem to be working very well, so he ended up using a smoke machine. It was just, ‘Stand there and do that.’ I’m sure he said it was for Black Sabbath, but I don’t know if that meant anything much to me at the time.”

On July 5, Black Sabbath bandmates Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward ended their 57-year career together with a final live performance at Villa Park in Aston, Birmingham.
