'Beverly Hills, 90210' Star, 52, Wants a 'Situationship' a Year After Filing for Divorce originally appeared on Parade.

Actress Tori Spelling, best known for her role as Donna Martin in the '90s series Beverly Hills, 90210, is opening up about her romantic life.

People magazine reported Spelling shared what her ideal relationship would look like as a mother of five. As fans are aware, Spelling shares her children, Liam, 18, Stella, 17, Hattie, 14, Finn, 12, and Beau, 8, with her estranged husband, Dean McDermott, whom she filed for divorce from in 2024.

According to the publication, Spelling said she is interested in having a "situationship" on a July 2025 episode of her podcast, misSPELLING. She explained she believes her life as a working mother isn't suitable for a serious relationship.

"The new thing is not a relationship, but a monogamous situationship,” said Spelling during her podcast episode, per People. "So, that would fit really nicely into my life because, honestly, right now, I'm focused on my kids and I'm focused on work…It's like a situationship, but you're not with anyone else. So it just kind of goes with your time and freedom and they're there.”

She then said she couldn't "imagine bringing a guy into this world" with five children.

“He would be like, 'Ah!' And run screaming. So while the kids are still semi-young, maybe I find a monogamous situationship," said the 52-year-old.

While speaking to Extra TV in March 2025, Spelling referred to herself as "a single mom of five" following her and McDermott's separation. In addition, she said having an 18-year-old son has taken some getting used to. According to Spelling, she sometimes doesn't recognize her eldest son's voice.

"There's no man in the house. And almost everyday I hear a guy's voice, I think someone is breaking in our house. And I'm like, 'Oh my god.' Who's the man? And then I'm like, 'It's my 18-year-old.' Like I have an adult son," said Spelling to the publication.
