A car YouTuber “influencer” has been arrested after allegedly street racing others in Grand Teton National Park. We’re not going to run the name of the YouTuber or anyone else involved in the incident because that’s why these guys do stupid things: to get attention.
Sheriff who’s been going after street racers caught on video allegedly street racing.
Authorities say they caught the suspects racing their exotic sports cars in the park at over 100 mph. Six people have been charged in the incident and two were arrested on the spot back on June 24.
The people involved in the street racing incident were taking part in the NU Rally Flacht Out tour, an exotic car rally that went through Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, and ended in Las Vegas, reports Jackson Hole News & Guide.
We know some of these rallies are perfectly harmless with guys obeying traffic laws and raising money for some rather worthwhile charities like children’s hospitals. But others are a bunch of rich guys who act like they’re above the law, encouraging each other to drive as recklessly as possible for thrills.
Most of the men charged by the Department of Justice are from California. And this is why so many in the West hate Californians, not that they all behave this way, but too many do.
We predict after the dust has settled on this legal case the car YouTuber will post some video bragging about what he did and his punishment, mocking the whole situation all for clicks. We’ve seen that done over and over.
Maybe the court will order that he not post such things, because we can guarantee monetizing reckless behavior and any trouble with the law was the motivation for street racing in a national park.
