Bitget, one of the world's top crypto exchanges and Web3 companies, has become an official member of the Global Markets Alliance, a developing cooperative project coordinated by Ondo Finance. Ondo Finance's venture is to accelerate the tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs).

Leading players within the digital asset ecosystem are collaborating to enhance tokenized security access and cross-functionality.

As part of the collaboration, Bitget users will have access to over 100 tokenized stocks, ETFs, and money market funds from the U.S. Users will be able to broadly diversify beyond typical crypto assets and into tokenized real-world financial instruments when these products go live later in the summer.

RWAs are blockchain versions of traditional assets. They tout advantages such as 24/7 trading, fractional ownership, and international accessibility that are seldom possible in conventional stock markets.

Bitget is the third-largest spot exchange globally, according to CoinGecko, which lists over 700 tokens and has a daily trading volume exceeding $3.5 billion.

By becoming part of the alliance, it now stands alongside other leading partners, such as the Solana Foundation, LayerZero, BitGo, and 1inch, in their mission to build the future of tokenized finance.

The next phase of digital asset adoption will be driven by tokenization, stated Gracy Chen, the chief executive of Bitget. She added:
