CUET is a compulsory exam for students to take admission in all 45 central Universities from 2024 for various UG/PG programs like Doctorate, Postgraduate, Undergraduate, Integrated Postgraduate, Diploma, Certification courses, and Research Programmes. The CUET full form is the Common University Entrance Test. Earlier CUET was known as the CUCET (Central University Common Entrance Test). It was established by NTA in 2010. Later it became the CUET in 2024.
All the questions asked in the CUET exam will be MCQ type. Apart from this 1 mark from total marks will be deducted in case of any wrong answer (negative marking will not be followed for research programs).

There are more than 300 cities in India where CUET UG is conducted in 13 mediums. Exams are conducted in hybrid mode. The CUET UG program has been divided into three sessions.

CUET PG
After completing graduation, various students look to get admission in central universities/ top universities for their master's program. In order to accomplish this students have to clear the CUET PG test. Students have to answer 75 MCQ-type questions in 1 hour 45 minutes. The value of each question will be 4 marks and for each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
There is no age limit to apply for the CUET PG exam. One who has completed his/her graduation or its equivalent is eligible to apply for the exam.
