A new mod for Baldur's Gate 3 will now let players going through a Dark Urge playthrough turn their character into a cannibal. This is one of many incredibly unique mods created by the passionate Baldur's Gate 3 community since the game's launch.
Mods have been a huge part of Baldur's Gate 3 since the game originally released. Thanks to a large group of dedicated modders, several changes can be made to the game outside its base release, such as more customization options, new weapons and spells, and even new or modified Classes to give fans a fresh experience. Larian Studios fully supports these mods as well, and even added an official Mod Manager for Baldur's Gate 3, allowing players to mod the game even if they have it on console.

It allows the player to turn into a cannibal during a Dark Urge playthrough, turning just about every lootable body part in the game into camp supplies. As there are plenty of body parts to find and loot throughout the game, this can potentially add a huge amount of camp supplies for the party, even if it is a dark decision morally. Dark Urge playthroughs are incredibly popular in the Baldur's Gate 3 community, with several other mods making changes and improvements to the mode, including some that add additional dialogue and others that alter how the main character behaves in battle.

The most important thing is that it will be possible to consume body parts required for quests with this mod, so players will need to be careful and not consume an important item, locking themselves from progressing in certain quests. The mod description also says that only lootable body parts that spawn after the mod is installed can be consumed, so it is recommended to install it before starting a new run to get the most use out of it. Being able to turn Tav into a cannibal can add a lot of dark story implications to the already evil Dark Urge story of Baldur's Gate 3.
